A Dance Walk invites an audience to be part of a open-air walking choreography. Performers and spectators come together in the experience of walking, moving and sensing in order to rediscover nature in local environments.

Big Dance Walk 2010 Footscray Meadows


The BIG Dance Walk is taking place on the 10th &11th July, at 11am and 1pm each day in Footscray Meadows, Bexley.
To join a Walk, please come to the meeting point 5 minutes before the starting time on the East side of the Five Arch Bridge on the River Cray in the park. Each Walk lasts about 30 minutes and takes place on partly uneven ground. If you have any access enquiries, please contact us. This event is British Sign Language friendly.




Travel: Footscray Meadows is a 15-minute walk from Albany Park railway station (connections from London Bridge, Lewisham and Hither Green).
Alternatively, take bus 492 from Sidcup railway station (wheelchair accessible) towards Bluewater Shopping Centre and get off at Parsonage Lane/ North Cray Church. There is limited parking available off North Cray Road.
